WHAT HAPPENS IN AN APPRAISAL?
Your items will be cleaned then weighed and tested to determine the pure metal content. These tests are non-invasive and do not damage the items. Metal prices are quite volatile and your appraisal is calculated on the live daily rate, listed in the showroom. All transactions are undertaken in complete confidence, with all paperwork required discreetly labelled. Some vintage or antique items may be purchased to retain for re-sale - and these do attract an addition 15% premium to the purchase price. Stones are removed at a $2 cost per stone and returned to you.
